Don't get me wrong I understand what a lot of people are saying when they wanted a little bit more out of this game but here's two things One write you you play a lot of Mario Maker 2 expert levels so this game wasn't for you to begin with number one. Number two they're giving you the experience of what other people had to go through when playing the original world championships. Actually they're giving you more of an experience because they gave you exactly what they went through and the actual world championships you would have just got three games. This is one of the novelty games they put out for people to have in the collect because the actual real cartridges for NES or very collectible. Now I do hope they do update it with some new challenges but you got what they advertised I don't understand how you think it's underwhelming when they never advertised anything overwhelming.

This "game" is pretty much the "we gotta level the playing field for all of the idiots" kind of maneuver. It's pretty embarrassing, but hey... whaddya expect from Neintendoh these days? :/

Did he ever figure out to how to switch weapons? 😂 use your guns dude! Also you can do a lot of moves and funny animations in this game. experimenting with all the controls is part of the fun! 🤩

I was with you until the FaP ring. I feel like treating the FaP ring as one of the best rings in the game goes against your earlier point about versatility. It's a good ring, I guess, but the fact that it breaks makes it highly overrated IMO. I feel like committing to FaP ring locks you out of some amazing combos: Havel's Ring+Wolf Ring+Havel's set+two-handed shield (high-poise, high-defense, high-stability combo to laugh at Bed of Chaos' bullshit), Ring of Fog+Slumbering Dragoncrest Ring (stealth setup), Hawk Ring+RTSR+Black Bow+Feather Arrows (long-range, high-damage cheese), Havel's Ring+Dark Wood Grain Ring (if you invest 96 into endurance, you can ninja flip with a full black knight set including greatsword/halberd and shield--can't do that with the FaP ring no matter what, and while obviously 96 endurance is a lot, the point obviously still stands for being able to ninja flip with lighter armor with much lower endurance investments than with FaP).

I think "Fall in the Door" is Gold division since there is no margin for mistake. Off by a little bit, and there is no opportunity to catch up to the player who was NOT off. Or Nintendo is just being Nintendo.

This game really need a remastered version where all the ridiculous spawn glitch and the final boss crap is fixed. It was made for children, what they were thinking

the "jump" at 8:10 ruined this game for me and I never got any farther. Probably tried it a hundred times, fell every time. Never knew to just run over it. It made me crazy as a kid. Seeing it now is somehow sad. Why would I ever think not to jump?

FYSA, the room where you get the missile, you can jump straight up to the second floor. Stand straight below it, jump up, and tap left near the peak of your jump. You can do this on almost every one of the second floor areas like that.

I beat this in 2 days. Got it for my 11th birthday. Yes, me and my cousin were very good at games. But, this game, all you need to do is use all 4 ninja turtles wisely, get scrolls, refill your health with pizza and goe slow 😊. This isn't that hard

Definitely not one of the hardest. Was able to beat it as a kid without the code (but the code did make it a lot easier to learn the levels).

So glad I didn't buy this crap

Love seeing all my old favorite childhood games in this series of yours! I never knew that everyone thought they were that difficult. Battletoads, Castlevania, Ninja Gaiden, Batman, Megaman series, TMNT, and Blaster Master were some of my favorites! I remember the YoNoid game being tough at parts, Festers Quest as well but if you knew what to prepare for they weren't that bad. The game I had that made me throw the controller the most was Abadox. Double Dragon had some tough spots too but not impossible. All NES games had patterns. Even Punch Out, the game was all patterns.

Hitting select is the difference in that Zelda II challenge for sure

As you mentioned, it's fun for five minutes, then it gets very stale very quickly. It's not very fun to watch for long and you don't enjoy it either, so my vote is a "nope":

If they limited the amount of hearts you could collect to say 20 or 30 I think it would balance out the easiness a bit, make it a tad bit harder, I suck at games so I love the difficulty level lol but I know it's a criticism for many

I love that this game is getting all this much deserved recognition. One of those games they have multiple ending, secrets to be uncovered, decent challenge. This is a MUST HAVE if anyone ever has the chance to get it original OR digitally.

People who make these games are like real nazi's and will never ever play this.
